The Beginning
I think of myself as a novice Filmmaker due ti the fact I felt I began late in the game. I had never worked in film until I had gotten into university studies. In my early life and still up to this present day I have been studying theatre and I went into film thinking I could try a new medium, but instead I fell in love with the craft of filming and wish to continue my studies in it. I enjoy experimental film above the other types since it gives the user full freedom and weight of the film. The limited resources that one uses in experimental film gives it that interesting challenge to create something with whatever you have. After reading the articles I found that there are almost unwritten rules of experimental film making that I did not know existed. While they serve as guild lines more than rules I will try to embrace them in hopes of being able to improve my film making abilities not in just experimental but in all aspects of art itself. The ...
